Introduction
The aim of this project is to create a prototype for an online recipes database, targeted at people needing a fast access to easy-to-make recipes in the context of an emergency situation, e.g. for an unplanned meal.
Therefore, the overall navigational structure and information architecture of the site should reflect this particular aspect.
To inform the design, several psychological Research methods have been conducted, including a Hierarchical Task analysis of the process of cooking, as well as interviews.
In addition, use has been made Jakob Nielsen’s 10 heuristics for the overall look and feel and usability of this prototype.
