Further Improvments

As this website is still a prototype, further improvements would have to be made to make it fully operational.

Firstly, a database holding the recipes should be designed, and as a result, an administrative side as well in order to maintain it. This database could therefore be extended to support more community oriented features such as user-provided comments and such, which will be tackled in the second point of this section.

Secondly, a way for the users to enter their own recipes in the system could be considered, which would transform this site from a tool to a more community-oriented website reinforcing the user commitment and fidelity to this particular site. RSS feeds could be used as well for this particular purpose.

Thirdly, adopting the Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript And XML) technique in this website, would make the interface even more user friendly, but would also entail some issues regarding for instance the back button functionality, thus interfering with Nielsen’s set of 10 heuristics.
