Development Strategy
Considering the relatively short time allocated for this particular project, an iterative development strategy has been adopted. This particular way of developing software, particularly well suited for web development purposes, allowed a great flexibility in terms of evaluation.
In addition, to keep a fresh and unique view of the issues involved in this particular project, choice has been made not to have a look at the recipe databases already available on the internet during the firsts iterations of the development process.
To implement this website, use has been made of established web development methods such as CSS and standard-compliant html. Using such methods improves the usability by making the website lighter and faster to load, as well as compliant to accessibility standards, making it legible by screen readers for example.
